Shareholder Meetings
The lead up to an AGM or general meeting can be the most demanding time for a company secretary and his team. We can reduce this burden by assisting with planning for, convening, and holding the meeting. Our work can include:
- Helping to plan the meeting, including provision of a checklist of matters to be considered before, during, and after the meeting
- Liaison with in-house and external event organisers
- Hosting the meeting at our offices, if required
- Drafting the notice of the meeting, and accompanying notes and proxy, liaising with investor regulatory bodies, etc.
- Proxy vote monitoring/reposting
- Liaising with registrars before and at the meeting
- Preparing a Chairman’s script and procedural notes
- Assisting the Chairman and in-house team at the meeting
- Preparing minutes and any resolutions and forms for filing at Companies House
- Drafting RNS announcements.
